Bass King Pro Team Angler Ryan Watkins recently won at the FLW Regional Championship on Lake Somerville, TX. Ryan had quite the weekend as he took home $50,000 for his victory and broke two collegiate records at the same time: (1) Heaviest one day bag weight of 26.7 lbs. in a regional event, and (2) 3-day heaviest bag total of 62.6 lbs. This win came just mere weeks after claiming the national title victory at the B.A.S.S. first inaugural National Championship, beating out a tough LSU squad.
